About Julie
Julie joined Rutherford Rede in 2023 to look after our events management and administrative needs. Since then, her role has evolved to also include Marketing and Compliance - bringing creativity, structure and a sharp eye for detail across all areas.
Having lived in London twice and in various corners of New Zealand, Julie has worked across a wide variety of industries – from personal coaching and holistic health to IT project management, market research, and government departments such as IRD and NZ Police. This diverse background means she’s just as comfortable delivering exceptional client experiences, as she is improving processes behind the scenes.
Outside of work, Julie is kept very busy by her two teenage daughters and her furry children, Grace (a Golden Retriever) and Kensington (a Tonkinese cat). She’s recently taken up lacrosse—joining a women’s team (and mostly managing to keep up with the younger ones!) after being inspired by her daughters. Having travelled extensively (46 countries - not that she’s counting!), she’s always keen to add another destination to the list. When not travelling, you’ll likely find her fitting in a strength workout… or unapologetically enjoying a solid dose of 70s music, particularly ABBA. Some things are non-negotiable!
