Our History

Our beginnings date back to 1986. If experience is something to value, we have it in abundance. Each adviser has seen the cycles of investment pass at least three times working closely with clients especially through the occasional lean year.  Our backgrounds are in the professional business world from where we each made the conscious decision to build upon our tertiary qualifications and enter the financial planning profession.  We each regard continued professional development as an integral element to our ability to service clients in the modern world.

 

One Kiwi icon inspired us in naming our practice. Lord Rutherford of Nelson is arguably New Zealand’s greatest pioneer, scientist and innovator.
