Our Auckland People

 

Richard Knight
Richard works as a paraplanner, primarily providing technical support to the advisers and the linkages between our research affiliates and Rutherford Rede. Richard also oversees clients' tax needs in the interface with their tax accountants.

 

After qualifying with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago, Richard worked in the financial services sector in London for a number of years, most recently with Goldman Sachs.

 

After returning to New Zealand with his wife to raise his young family, Richard enjoys making the most of the lifestyle New Zealand has to offer. Having successfully completed the Paris marathon he looks forward to furthering his tally of marathons closer to home. He is also a keen golfer and has a passion for winter sports, enjoying his pursuits as and when time and family commitments allow. His outdoor fitness blends well with his work ethos which is focused on helping the practice deliver long-term financial rewards to clients.

 

Richard intends working towards the Authorised Financial Adviser (AFA) qualification to further develop the resources behind Rutherford Rede's advisory services.
